and the visitors to, Cook County Minnesota.

Located in Grand Marais, Minnesota
just five blocks from beautiful Lake Superior, the
largest fresh water lake (by area) in the world.

Court Project Update

The USTA Northern contributed $6,000 in 2007 and $10,000 in 2008 to the Cook County Tennis Public Court Project. The County has contributed $62,000 to this endeavor. $157,000 in funds and volunteer labor has been raised so far to reconstruct the three courts, furnish lighting, build a shed, a roof over the viewing area, a backboard and landscaping. The total project will cost $225,000. It is anticipated that reconstruction will start in May 2009 and will be finished by l July 2009.
